Carpal Tunnel Night time Problems

Ever wondered why Carpal Tunnel Syndrome problem occur at night?

This had me stumped for a while as well.

It all comes down to what you do at night. At night most people move and twitch and twist. Most people also move their wrist quite a lot and tend to bend it a lot.

So if you have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and lay down for a good nights sleep, then during the night bend your wrist, putting pressure on the carpal tunnel. You will cause the carpal tunnel problem to flair up.

During the day you may have repetitive movements in the wrist, however at night you are more likely to bend the wrist for long periods. If the wrist is inflamed and you bend it and it stays bent for long periods then you will put a lot of pressure on the Median Nerve, causing the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Symptoms.
