How do you know you have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome??

Well, apart from gut feeling, which is where I started. There are some neat little tests you can do.

Check out the test in the video.

Basically testing for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome entails putting pressure on the Median Nerve to replicate the symptoms. If you can replicate the symptoms when applying pressure to the Carpal Tunnel, then most likely the reason is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Of course these tests are not definitive, you should consult a qualified medical person to confirm your suspicions. However trying the tests will give you some idea. You may even decide to implement a few changes in your life style, ergonomics, exercises to try to avoid seeing a doctor. That solution is quite common for men who seem to want to avoid the doctor.

There are other more complete and complicated test that your doctor will do, these will give you a much more definitive answer to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

If you test do come out positive, and you wish to avoid the doctors for now, join our Newsletter Mail list, we email out interesting things about living with carpal tunnel, avoiding carpal tunnel and treating carpal tunnel syndrome. The newsletter is free and you can unsubscribe at any time if you wish.
