This is how I did it, a whole of self approach.
Yes, this is what I have been looking for, a long term approach to banish capal tunnel probelms forever.

There is one thing you MUST
DO, and I mean MUST before
anything
else. More on that a little later.
First, a short story. My story. See this has
happened to me, I have experienced Carpal Tunnel Symptoms.
It all started with some discomfort, not much, just a little
discomfort in my right hand.
Sound familiar?
A little discomfort, and
that tingling feeling, you know the one. Usually
after a day at work.
You probably just put it down to stress and a hard days work.
Fair enough. Most people do, I did. Just
a
little bit of
tingling, and discomfort, nothing that a nice cold beer (or
in my
case glass of wine) and relax wouldn't fix.
BUT- as you know it just doesn't stop there, does it?
Gradually it
just get worse,
Eventually you start waking up in the night with THAT pain.
You know the one I mean.
You grip weakens which is disastrous if you
enjoy
sports. (for me it is golf, I'm hopeless, but for
some
bizarre reason I really enjoy a game)
That's when it starts really effecting your life, a bad nights sleep,
weak grip, tingling.....
The
pain is consistently there and NOTHING you do seems to make a
difference.
Tell you what, the old golf game suffers, and mine
is not good enough to get any worse!!
So what are the options.
To be completely honest, there are lots of options,
but which
ones are effective???
- Splints - YES this is an integral part of any carpal
tunnel
treatment,
- Surgery - sorry no thanks, do you hate
the thought of
surgery?? If you have to, you have to. But try
everything
else first.
- Injections?? Long term injections just don't cut
it,
do they want to fix you up??? Cure the problem??
Or
just easy the pain for a short term to get you back at a later stage.
Sorry injections are not a long term
solution.
- Diet and Nutrition - YES. diet and nutrition
matter,
as with anything, your body reacts to what goes
into it.
It is not so much what you shouldn't eat as what you should
eat.
A TIP you should know by now avoid salt. That little secret
you can
have from
me, ever seen what salt does to a car, salt drys
things
out, corrodes things, it will do the same to your body.
- Exercises - YES. Carpal Tunnel problems are all
related to
pinched and pressured nerves, Exercises can help relieve the
pinching of the
nerves and help strengthen and balance the mussels.
- Massage - YEP Massage is important, (but
difficult if you
have to do it yourself ) WHY, well massage can help
reduce
any trapped fluid in that Carpal Tunnel Region. It can help
relieve pressure, relax the nerve and hence ease the pain.
- Ergonomics - YES,
ergonomics are very
important, slumping over a PC keyboard, hunched shoulders,
handling tools and equipment the incorrect way all affect the
Carpal Tunnel.
Why do Diet, Exercises, Massage, Splints and Ergonomics rate highly?
Because Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a symptom of your
lifestyle.
It is a symptom of over using, AND under using, AND
incorrectly
using your hands, and body in your every day life. ESPECIALLY
your job. We all know the bad habits creep in slowly, but

Lets take the example of a computer operator, (me).

Posture, Resting My Hands Constantly, it all leads to one place......
The same thing happens to ANYONE that has a repetitive job, you use
the same mussels ALL the time in the SAME way.
Production line workers.
Workers who use the same machinery a lot
People who use high vibration machines all the time.
This is the root cause of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, how
you use
your body. And by the time you have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
your
body's bio-mechanics are that used to these repetitive movements that
they are ingrained into how you move every day. When that
happens, the problem gets worse. Your body is used to moving
in a
specific way, so it moves that way. That puts more
strain
on the body especially the area's that are over used and under used.
Which leads to more bio-mechanic learning by your body.
More
issues and more Carpal Tunnel problems, it's a vicious cycle.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO BREAK THE CARPAL TUNNEL CYCLE!!
There is one thing that I need to mention at this point.
Your Carpal Tunnel Syndrome problems might be caused by an infection,
or virus, or trauma, or something else that effects your hands, tendons
or nerves. It may have nothing to do with your mussel tone,
or
ergonomics etc, (although I doubt it).
THE MUST
DO TIP,
This is VERY IMPORTANT
- try a splint first!! a little tip for
you, it
might save you a small fortune. Here is a short vid about how

Some people see VERY effective relief
from
splints, (that is one reason why there are so many for sale
on
the internet). I know that some people will get benefit out
